2. What the Service does
CanPeek lets you look up public profile content (such as short-lived stories and posts) by username. Results may appear on pages like https://canpeek.com/username. The Service is designed for no-login, no-account use.
3. Information we process
3.1 Information you provide
- Search queries, usernames, or profile links you enter or open.
- Messages you send us (support or DMCA emails), including your email address and message content.
We do not require a social-network password or CanPeek account registration.
3.2 Information collected automatically
Hosting and security providers (for example Cloudflare) may process standard technical data such as IP address, browser/device hints, referring URL, timestamps, approximate location from IP, and requested paths/usernames — for security, reliability, abuse prevention, and basic traffic understanding.
3.3 Media content
Photos, videos, and captions shown in results come from upstream public sources/CDNs. CanPeek is a pass-through rendering layer. We do not permanently store third-party media files on our own disks as part of normal operation. Short-lived infrastructure caching may occur only to operate the Service.
3.4 Cookies and local storage
- Essential: security and network performance via the host/CDN.
- Preferences: theme (light/dark) may use browser local storage.
- Analytics (if enabled later): aggregated metrics only; we will update this policy if we add named analytics products.
4. How we use information
- Provide and improve the Service (fetch/display public results you requested)
- Security, abuse prevention, and reliability
- Respond to support, legal, or copyright requests
